Go Up Go Down

It Was a Little Cooler

So I decided to go down tha road a few miles
to one of my spots.

{alt}

I found an area with some old pottery shards,
and some old stuff in tha ground. I have not
hunted this spot very well in tha past.

{alt}

I only got to hunt a couple of hours before, it
got too hot.

{alt}

Included in that pile is what looks like a wood
stove inspection door.

{alt}

And then there is part of an old horse bit.

{alt}

{alt}

Here is part of an old pewter spoon.

{alt}

I found a couple of buckles.

{alt}

Look how this one shined up. It is a Ranalde
solid nickel buckel

{alt}

{alt}

And then last is what seems to be a old button
front.

{alt}

It was good to get out for a little while.

I enjoyed it.

Thanks fer lOOkin yaw, and

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog

Wow Tab, Judging by those finds I'd be willing to bet that there is some more good stuff lying around there

You are right sage.

I have hunted it for about a year and a half.

It is being developed. It is already hard to
get in there. Few spots are left now that
have not been covered up to raise tha grade.

It will be commertial property.

I will follow the construction.

But the way it is going, I will be lucky to
get any more good finds there.

Hate ta see a good spot go, but there are
more, for now,

Tabdog

Nice looking finds! That one buckle looks like it's been in the ground quite a while!

Wow, what a nice selection of relics that you recovered there.  That is too bad, but construction sites are one of the best sites to go to, as they disturb the ground.  That usually can pick out the old items far in the ground, if the construction workers will let you do a bit detecting.

Cool Beans!   That one buckel looks like it could be German Silver.

Nice finds, Sir!
