Could anyone tell me where to re-solder the wires(red & black) from battery pack?  I have old gold Bounty Hunter III..... thanks

Follow the red wire from the switch to the board.   You may see where it came from.

I'm looking for a schematic.

LOL!   Some times I need that as well.

Can you show me a photo of the back of the switch to the Board?

I have a Schematic for the 840 but it shows a Zener as the only regulator.

The red wire may or maynot be the Positive wire.

Yes, it is not the schematic for you machine but companies tend to use the same set ups on audio and power when they can.

That detector looks to be a simple TR?  could be close.

I don't think so, but not sure either.. on closer inspection it looks like those holes were never used

If I remember correctly the Bounty Hunter II & III both used the same board.

I found this print online saying it is a Bounty Hunter III, maybe it is and maybe it's not.
