Broken bottles are normally worth nothing at all. Sorry.

Bit welcome to the forums. Enjoy!

It's all about that magical moment of discovery when metal frees itself from soil and presents itself to me.

Im not concerned with its value just its age,  It was under some stairs in a 400 yr old convient, found several, all broken. i dident dig to deep.
It has a large indent in the bottom and to cuts in the rim probaly for a wire tie to hold the cork in.

Is there any printing in the glass inside the indent? Around the bottle neck? Any of them have any markings at all?
