Dr. Dtector, Re: fretted Merc.....
Saw a man in St. Augustine doing these with a jewlers saw.  Kind of thought it was ashame for old coins to be gettin cut up like that.  He had a vise and would put the coins in, dril holes, and thread saw blade through.  Used a diff pan for silver and yes gold to catch the dust.  Called the pans his 'vacation fund'.

Loved the marble shots - I am assuming they just happened to be in the hole your digging unless your detectors can read glass.  I happen to be a toy/game collector so I have scads of marbles around - nice to see the ones that you all are enjoying. They bring back alot of memories.
