There was a time I would have kept a lot of them, especially the pig jar and the green spice jar. I have a lot of the pig jars and one of the green spice jars. Be sure to post that green jar in particular. I've never seen one posted here.
The sodas, well I've got a s*^t load and do not necessarily need more. Besides for the same reason you had trouble getting them out of the site, I would have had double trouble.
My knees restrict me and limit as to how much I can carry
.
Your stamina was admirable
.
I would like to keep more of them but space and inability keep me restricted to keeping mostly the smaller bottles. Such as the perfume bottles and the figurines.
Now yes, there were "trash" bottles but I buried them the ketchup, vinagar, wine, whiskey, and the mayo jars were plentiful. I set aside the more desireable specimens for others to pick through if they want.
Well Flasherr, it's Tuesday and I am already thinking about the next time, and I can tell from your enthusiasm there will be a next time.
Be sure to look into getting a
flat blade turning fork you can move twice the material with one of those as you can with a shovel. This comes from someone who has been doing this for many many years.....
I retreived my marble finds from my bag and took a pic. Not much for marbles this time but it's smoething. Roy found 21 and I took home 12.
I'll get in touch soon.
If there is anyone else out there who wants to go let me know........The place is well over 4+ acres in size......Lot's of places to dig......

| Well i say i learned my lesson but i never do. I had a blast and i have to agree the best find of the day was a new friend. I enjoyed it very much. I didn't find a lot but i gained the knowledge that is priceless. I have finally got to do something i have wanted to do for a long time. Soon as i get my stuff cleaned up i will post some pictures to cold to go outside and wash bottles. My best finds were Out4golds trash. Where is the picture of the skull you dug? I cant thank you enough for letting me go with you and i cant wait to go again.

We know it's not a real skull but it did look good.
It was the heaviest thing I have carried out of there in a long time.
When I take a pic, I'll post it in another thread and mention this post.
