Sorry I forgot to mention that I am an Electronics Technician with 25 years of experience!!! I would really like to look at the schematic for this unit, I know they are hard to draw if you have no real understanding of electronics!!

I can't believe what I'm seeing on this thread, what a load of tat!! According to the Geotech report this 'unit' sold for $1995. How sad that some folk have spent their hard earned money on this, when half the money would buy a decent detector and give a real chance of finding treasure/nuggets. The construction is abysmal. I have a UK City and Guilds in Radio, TV and Electronics from 1976. In training I had to build a valve radio, with neatly routed hand wiring, using specific cable colours (it aids future servicing). Looking inside that 'unit' it seems the only skill the builder had was with a glue gun!!  Ripoff!

robOcap-
How do you tell when those coat hangers are workink right and how do you tell when to change their oil??

I've tried it... didn't work for me but my sister can find water with a willow fork, so could my aunt, so will a 2 box deep locater.

We had a water driller up here, who always hired a dowser, before drilling... he had 100 percent drilling success.

As it has been said, this "box" of parts does not appear  to legitimate.

Dowsing is an old practice, some have it, some don't and it has nothing to do with that box of parts.

Hey Brian, if those wire coathangers are working right you may even find oil!!  Grin

Seriously though, all power to the guys with the real skills, not to the con men who take advantage of the gullible who don't have those skills.

Take care Brian, Rob  Smiley

robOcap-

Hey! You must be sitting on your email machine, like me!

Yes, I have heard of dowsing for oil and gold with coat hangers, water too, with some success.
I've seen dowsing done on a map, with a gold object, such as a ring, however I never followed that one up so I don't know if they found gold.

I myself personally me, have tried it, on a map and you know what..... it finds gold on every bend of a river, just where there is SUPPOSED TO BE gold. Obviously I influenced it. It seems, from that, it would 'find  gold,' on any river, even if there was none! But that is not saying it does NOT work.... it's just my personal experience.

Every time I get an email that there is a post about my post, I zip over to keep up the chatter, but its 3AM and time for beddy-bye.
