I only have one thing to remark about the schematic besides WTF. If you are using the 240v option, change the moral rectifier to a hot rectumfryer. More sensitive. I think it should be a good to go circuit. If you can't find the 666, just use a 566 and put a 100 ohm resistor in series and parallel with pin 8.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Does this mean that this is now a tested and working LRL that we can build in all confidence?

I guarantee that if you build it, you can be 100% confident that it will not work.  Grin

That’s the best news I hear for long time. Clapp Clapp
As a DIYer it means a lot to me to be able to construct my own LRL and having it NOT working exactly as a many thousands of dollars original. Smiley

Get your coat hangers here..... Never held a shirt. Elprimo steel from old nuclear plant that was melted down in Korea and re rolled at the Grace L Furgeson coat hanger rolling mill in Keokuk, IA. Late production run with no expiration date. Best stuff for your LRL project.

Gosh guys I use to sell electroscopes and they worked for me. They work off voltage anyway. I used them in my city parks to find jewelry (rings)  Have population of 160,000 here and 11 colleges. U can build ur own for 10 bucks.  shortribs

If you think it is working (your LRL) prove it here, or either accept this challenge.,

Show us some video of field testing, or even tell us how it works don't tell us magics.

Do you mean that the electroscopes work when turned off?
