Ive been detecting for over 20years now and I want to go to Miami Beach for a couple of days to find some beach booty... Ive read several versions of the legality of beach, shallow water hunting and to say the least its kinda confusing. Does anyone here have any first hand knowledge about it? I would hate to fly down only to find out its illegal... Thanks in advance!!! William

when I lived there (3 years ago) you could detect up to the water line. Check the local codes. And have fun
