We got out late ish last night about 19:30 and to our dismay found a local guy to that beach working his ass off. We'd met him before at that same location but he wasn't for talking the last time, so we kept well out of his road.
About an hour later he called it a day and left so I thought I'd try going over the areas he had, I know that sounds silly but I did.
Well, I came upon this iffy signal and decided to go for it and BINGO he left me a mellow yellow. (eat yer heart out guy)
I reckon it was on it's edge about 4-5 inches down and between us we lifted about $3 in clad. So, here it is.

Great find.  Glad it worked out for you.  Sometimes it really pays to go back over a spot that's already been hunted.

Very nice find, probably seems better with the guy being a little on the snooty side. There are 2 things I hope to find someday, to get into the 1800's with the
coins & a nice ring. ( preferably a gold ring with a nice ruby in my size) Ha Ha 
Or might I be asking too much?

If I can do it, you can do it. Anyone can do it.
I can guarantee you will most certainly find a nice gold ring and for sure after the first one, there will be many more.
It's just a matter of time and puttin' in the hours.
