Go Up Go Down

After last nights big storm and seven meter tides hit the local beach for 3 hours.
Went last week but not a single coin. How things change lol
It was just target after target and only dug 4 bits of junk

After cleaning

Plus hit a lovely gold ring
Indian I think dont recognise the marks on it but looks very high karot
with the word dilip on it which is the Indian God for looking after blokes
I think
{alt}
Hopping for 22 karat's or so cos them Indians love the good stuff
plus had a 2 shilling coin and some other older ones wich are still in the cleaning proses.
Cant wait to get back tomorrow must of been 2 meters of sand taken from the beach.
This has been the first time in months that a storm has taken sand and not added to it let the good times roll Cheesy

Don't you just love the way storms refresh the hunting landscape whether your looking for beach treasures or hunting for placer gold?

Hi Chipmonky

Some great finds for just 3 hours work. I went to Blackpool last week using my Sovereign, and ended up with just 6 coins.

What area of the UK are you detecting and what machine are you using?

Regards Tarot (Bob)

Tarot from the land of the pasty mate lovely Cornwall just on a local beach on the north coast.not the busiest
went last week for no coins but we have had some good storms in the last couple of days
always take Dora the explorer 2 with me with ether 10x12 or 12x15 sef.
For some reason we dont get to my hunters here or ones that no wot they doing any way
Only ever seen a few older blokes penny picking in the dry sand

Dont think wich beach makes to much diff you on just need to learn the beach so you can see where
the sand comes and goes from.
I spend a lot of time checking the beach web cams to see if things have moved

Hi Chipmonky

I have got plenty of field detecting experience, but am a novice on the beaches. I am using a Minelab Sovereign Elite, and trying to learn as much as I can from these forums and youtube. My closest beach is Blackpool, which is about 40 miles away. Hopefully with time and experience, I will be able to post some decent finds like yours.

PS Good luck to you and Dora on your next expedition.

Regards Tarot (Bob)
