Hello,

I am looking for any advice or friends what could help to my with info about: How to search in Australia.  Detecting We are going to go there 2015 or 16 on vacation and our plan is, as usually, hunted. What else. We have GPX and number of VLF engines. Its own dream try it in gold location, and beach too. Without sharks, if is it possible, please. What do you mean about it, we will need arrange any support there, is not it.
And with colleagues from local communities it is impossible, I suppose.
On the other hand, we can help, I am sure, to do it friendly in our country for the same issue.  Smiley

You can try contacting Gold Search Australia and they will be able to point you in the Right direction

Never go out in the Bush in one Car/4x4 make sure you have others traveling with you in a convoy, People get lost, Break down and DIE out there and then others risk their lives to rescue stranded Travellers, If you travel in to the Outback or the North Territory and you don't listen to me It Will Kill You and the Tempreture Gets higher than 70*c in the Sun So make sure you take 4x the amount of water for each member of your party and the Dog and the Vehicles,

Good Luck and have fun but most of all stay safe,

AU

You will need a permit if you are looking for gold.
There are many prospecting clubs in every state. You can contact them and you can tag along with them in there outings or they will put you on the right direction.
There are also organized "gold tours" some of them for as long as 15-20 days. They take you to where gold was found in the past give you instructions on how to correctly use your detector, and most important support if anything happen like you car brake down 500miles from no-where.
Have fun and be safe.
Pm me when in Australia. i will be happy to help.

Cool, weldone good info there, I think that some companies charge for tag along people but like you said they will keep you safe and put you where you need to be,
Thanks for that,

Hi , finding Gold in Australia is not an easy task especially for those with no prior experience in this country . Like nickel_n stated a tag-a-long or guided tour will be the best option ( particularly a West Australian tour , seems Gold is found there more regularly due to huge areas open to detecting ) . These are not cheap but Gold is usually found regularly and done in a safe manner with all needs catered for .
Consider joining one or more of the Australian Gold detecting/prospecting forums , most people are more than willing to help those that have similar interests , good luck with your big adventure ..cheers Mick

Theres also a company called Goldlease-estates  who offer pay and go access to a variety of gold leases within the eastern goldfields of western Australia. If you contact John I am sure he will assist you with access and organise a guide to take you prospecting and show you around the various gold leases. Itll be much cheaper than a tagalong tour, I've just spent a week on a lease and won 37 gms which isn't a lot but as a novice prospector I didn't expect anything.
