Has lifted such cartridge which has decayed almost. But inside still there was a gunpowder which has burnt down from fire though has been lost about 100 years ago

Orders abroad on an ammunition of calibre of 7.62 mm for our country became norm since the Russian-Japanese war of 1905.


Echo of civil war and intervention on Russian north

After acceptance on arms of Russian army of a rifle of system of Mosin of 7,62 mm обр.1891г. In Russia there has been begun mass release of this ammunition.
Despite the out-of-date form — presence закраины, the cartridge has successfully celebrated the centenary, is in a system till now and does not wish to hand over the positions.
The cartridge was applied to shooting from a rifle сист. Mosin обр. 1891, obr.91/30, carbines обр.38, обр. 44, rifles СВТ-38, СВТ-40, АВТ-40, АВС-36, manual machine guns of system of Degtyaryov (ДП, ДТ,  ДТМ, ДС), Maxim's easel machine guns and Gorjunova, aviation machine guns ШКАС, and many experimental samples of the weapon. The cartridge could be used and for the Finnish weapon. In 1941-45 it was made in the USA, England and arrived on lend-lizu. There are also cartridges of the Finnish manufacture.
