Go Up Go Down

We will soon be starting to locate some WW2 bombers in Norway, and will be happy to publish pictures, search reports, sidescan sonar images and so on if there are any one out there that would like to see this?

I would also like to make connections with other "WW2 treasure hunters" if there are some out there.

Regards,
Glenn

I would love to see photos of these aircraft.
Of special interest to me would be any that are RCAF ( Royal Canadian Air Force)

Of course all aircraft would be of interest!!!

Do you recover parts of them??

I plan to recover parts from the planes, when we can locate them, and they are within diving depths.
In '94 there was a Halifax bomber recovered from the Norwegian lake Mj?sa, that I belive was an RCAF airplane.

I will follow up this topic, as the search gives any results.

Think I have proved my point.

When you start finding bits, please let me know.
I put on many displays each year including my Towns Nov 11th Rememberance display...both the old and young are more interested in recovered items than the nice shiny stuff.

Smiley
I'll keep this in mind when the bits&pieces are found.
Do you have any interrest in UK and German bits? Or is it only items with connections to the RCAF you are interested in?

Glenn

I have a treasure hunting friend in Switzerland that found a WWII Spitfire in a lake.  I understand it was in pretty good condition.  Must be pretty exciting to find these things.  I'll look forward to pictures.
